“Fugue States”

The exhibition Fugue States explores through painting, drawing, sculpture and installation trajectories in Pasadena traced by these artists through a series of personal projections, historic recollections and poetic reveries. Fashioning uncertain maps of personal terrains, that are laced with frequent mis-transcriptions due to engaging processes of abstraction, ellipsis, metonymy and abandon, the two artists create new pathways to understanding their traversed and constructed landscape.
